On August 20th, kids 16 and under take to the streets of downtown Olympia decked out in costumes, with animals in tow and their hearts filled with excitement and joy. This year marks the 82nd annual parade. Pet Parade is free and draws more than 1,000 kids and pets –everything from dogs and cats to gerbils and llamas. Prizes are awarded in numerous categories.
