I LOVE musical theater! Who doesn’t? In an effort to
shove culture down my kids throatgive my kids exciting experiences they can use to become well rounded adults, I might just do this. It’s free, except for the time involved in waiting in line. So, the real question is ‘Will I have enough patience and serenity to deal with what I expect will be hoards of people?’ Lets hope so!
For my South-enders! This looks so amazing, and its free! Mark your calendars for a free while tickets at the Pantages range from $39-$129 ($129 price includes a meet and greet) If the timing isn’t right for you to see the free one, you can still score a 20% discount online by clicking the link below and follow the prompts to order tickets online.

I love free and the Grand has an especially wonderful program where you can watch family friendly movies for free, sponsored by Click. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, at 9:30am, the Grand opens up one of its viewing rooms to show the film. Seating is limited to the first 100 people, so for very popular movies, be sure to get there in plenty of time.

I am a HUGE supporter of our troops and this weekend is special for them. In the past, military members have not always been supported and loved as many of us do now. So, I take the time to honor my family (Dad and Husband) as well as the many friends and co-workers who have served. One way to do that, take them out to eat on Sunday November 11th. Its even easier with these participating restaurants:
- Olive Garden
- Dennys (Monday Nov 12th)
- TGI Fridays (Monday Nov 12th)
- Famous Daves
- Red Robin (Monday Nov 12th)
- Krispy Kreme
- Outback Steakhouse (Sunday & Monday Nov 12th) – Blooming onion only
- Einstein Brothers Bagels
- Sizzler (Monday Nov 12th)
- Red Lobster – Appetizer only
- McCormick & Schmicks
- Little Ceasars (crazy bread only)
- BJs Restaurant & Brewhouse (Monday Nov 12th)
There are plenty of Veterans Day free meals to be had this year as well as some other additional discounts on items other than food. You’ll be able to stop into any of the restaurants below on or around Veterans Day this year to get your free meal.
Tip: Pay close attention to the date listed and what you need to bring so you qualify for the free meal. They don’t all take place on Veterans Day (Sunday, November 11, 2012 but observed on Monday, November 12, 2012) and some require different forms of identification.
Tip: Some of these Veterans Day free meals are nationwide but some are only at participating locations. Please call the restaurant you plan on visiting before you leave home to make sure they are taking part.
Looking for more freebies like this one? There are plenty of other military freebies that are available all year round. You can also get free meals on your birthday at many restaurants around the country.
